Another good example of a garden matching the style of the house: a classic Italianate entrance with large steps and a symmetrical arrangement. The planting matches the hard landscaping: box hedge, box pyramids, and standard Photinias add to the structure of the garden, while the two parterres with low box edges are seasonally planted with lush annual bedding planting: early spring tulips are followed by pink cosmos and lavender plantations. The wide steps are further framed with pleached trees planted in the middle of the parterres.
“Nothing speaks louder in a design than a symmetrical grand arrangement which highlights the feature of the house and invite people in.”
