Some of the aspects are good to show, but some are best to hide. By creating a lattice windbreak with viewing windows cut out of them, we can achieve both: a little bit of privacy, a little bit of view. These framed view cut into the horizontal battens are only showing the nice parts of the surrounding area, the unwanted view is covered with the evergreen climbing jasmine. The layout of the garden is flexible: the mobile rectangular planters are made of lightweight polystone and are on wheels so they can be rolled around in the rooftop.
“The most reliable container plants are shown in this garden: olive trees underplanted with lavenders, purple wallflowers and orange blossom bushes. Evergreen, scented and flowering, all that we want in a planter.”
