description
This garden consists of three separate sections: a patio area near the house with a portable BBQ and an archway leading to the lawn area with planting at the side. The third section is the main feature of the garden – the rear decked patio set amongst a light woodland. This area can be approached from the lawn through a gravel path with timber sleepers acting as stepping stones, and two ornamental urns acting as piers with two Himalayan birch groups. The bespoke timber archway frames the view of the rear garden making it an even more inviting space.
“Birches can create a very soft woodland area with their loose foliage and white trunk – ideal if you want to create a border under them, as most flowering perennials require a bit of sunshine.”
